We only stayed in Hereford for one night and felt a visit to the cathedral was a must. We were not disappointed. It is magnificent. We were surprised there was not an entrance fee as our local cathedral (Winchester) charges for the astronomical costs of upkeep of these historical buildings. Nothing like these cathedrals will ever be built again. I was fascinated by the movable organ on wheels that is moved to a different place in the church for the Tree Choirs Festival.BobH764
